THANK-YOU

Just a quick thank-you for making KRMD the #1 radio station in the ark-la-tex!!!!! We simply wouldn't have jobs if it weren't for the best listeners in the world!!!! I am so lucky to be part of such a winning team. From James Anthony (whom I've known before I even got my first job), Todd Nixon, Jeff Parker, Dannie Coates and Jenny Corina on the wknds. I couldn't forget the best partner in the world, Hillary. Everyone is a joy to work with and are considered friends. In this crazy world of radio, to have co-workers be personal friends is un-heard of. I am an extremely lucky guy to be part of such a great family.... Again thank-you for making us #1 again. (do I get a raise if I mention that Todd is our boss. Without his friendship and leadership none of this would be possible) I'm Derek James and I do approve this message.

Scented Pampers

I know that someone out there has the smarts to create a scented pamper. I don't expect something like a pack of "Pine Fresh" car scents. Hey, how about a small Febreeze squirter in the pamper that squirts when Jon-Dakota poots or does his job of #2. Would that be safe? Any scent would be great! Orchid, Honey-Suckle, Green Apple, Stetson, Brute, fried chicken, liver and onions. It doesn't matter. Just some cover-up pleaaasssseee!!! The little "Febreeze Squirter" would really help with Jon-Dakota's accidents. (are they really accidents? how come these accidents only happen when it just me at home? why can't they happen when Jenny is home?) The other day Jenny had gotten in from work and I was getting sick in the sink. She asked if I was getting the "bug" that had been going around? No, I just changed a pamper!!!!!!!

How did the 20 yr. reunion go for Northwood H.S.?

You know, after all the nagging from you the listeners of KRMD, Hillary, my wife and yes even folks I went to school with, I decided to go to atleast one night to the "Big Night" To be hones, it was really good to see everyone. MaryAnn and Kelly looked just as they did if not better than the year 1988. It was amazing the things that they remembered that I hadn't and still don't. It was really fun to have the chance to visit with them and the husbands. At the same time it was also great to see everyone visiting with Jenny. Some other old friends were there as well. Really good to see Amy (Addisson)Tuggle, Eric Hayes, Shawn Chamberlain, Jennifer Burton, Jason Mitchell, Debra Woodard, and my best friend from school, my cousin Justin. (Yes the one that shot me while dove hunting in 1987. I still have 4 #8's in my face) After the game was over, everyone was wanting to go out and hang out even longer. I would have loved to, but I had been up since 2:30 that morning and was running out of gas quickly. The next night was the big night at Southern Trace. I wish that people would understand that when I say I don't want to do something, I'm not. Southern Trace is a great place. I'ts just a little to fancy for me. Plus to be honest, there were people there that I didn't care about seeing. I hate to mention them, because I understand that they listen all the time to KRMD. For that, I thank them. The old friends from Friday night all promised that we would stay in touch, and I look forward to the 30 yr. reunion, if I'm still kickn!!!!
